The Production Manager will exercise leadership and relationship management over an array of projects for internal and external customers. As the incumbent, you will drive requirements, maintain large project plans and communicate with team members as well as stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed in a timely fashion. In addition, this Production Manager would identify areas of improvement to current processes and work with all team members to roll out enhancements.

Essential Job Function

  • Track multiple projects in development communicate progress back to management, creative and production teams
  • Maintain contact with tech partners to monitor and track development of featured items designated for their creation
  • Maintain contact with internal Technical Director to monitor and track development of featured items designated for creation by our own internal engineering team
  • Maintain contact with Production to maintain and ensure scope and schedule of projects are viable
  • Be point person monitoring and tracking progress on our two external outsourcing houses

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in the gaming industry
  • Be prepared to work with a great Team of producers, Character Artists, 3D Artists, 2D Artists, UI Artists, Game Designers, Technical Artists, Engineers/Programmers, and leaders.
  • Proficiency with software tools: MSProject (able to create, manage and work from a Gantt chart), Excel (proficiency in managing data within spreadsheets), Visio (proficiency with flow chart development), Word, PowerPoint, Perforce
  • Be able to wrap all production data up to develop, maintain, and review an organized development chart for multiple projects
  • Proven experience in tracking and assisting in the development of projects and teams.
  • Be able to quickly promote scheduling issues/complications and work with production and management to flag items as they become issues so that the team can make proper decisions with up-to-date data
