Supporting Production Across Texas
Texas offers a range of production incentive programs designed to encourage investment, create jobs, and support the growth of the state's film and media industry. The Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program (TMIIIP) provides qualifying productions with cash grants based on eligible Texas expenditures and wages paid to Texas residents. Depending on the project type and budget, eligible productions may receive incentives of up to 31% through stacked grant opportunities.The Media Production Development Zone (MPDZ) program further supports the industry by offering sales and use tax exemptions for the construction or renovation of permanent production facilities, helping strengthen Texas as a premier production destination.
